Can I start with the free Bee Seen package and upgrade later?
Yes. You can start with a free Bee Seen listing and upgrade to Bee Found or Bee Chosen at any time.
Your existing listing can be expanded with the extra features included in your new package, so you do not need to start again
Can local charities and community groups list for free?
Yes. Charities and community groups can be listed on Hilltops Connect free of charge.
The aim is to make it easy for people to connect with the organisations that help support the needs of the Hilltops community. We are happy to talk to any organisation that would like additional marketing or increased visibility.
Can local events list for free?
Yes. Local events can be added to the Hilltops Connect Community Calendar free of charge.
For community events, promotions and campaigns needing extra promotion, dedicated event pages or broader marketing support, see our Event Marketing options above or get in touch with us to discuss what would suit your event.
Do I need my own website or social media page to be listed?
No. You can be listed on Hilltops Connect even if you do not have your own website or social media page.
Your listing can still include your business name, contact details, location and information about what you offer. If you do have a website or social media, these can be added to eligible paid packages to make it easier for customers to connect with you.
What does 'backed by local business' and 'pay it forward' mean?
Backed by Local Business means Hilltops Connect is supported by local businesses through paid listings and sponsorships. That support helps keep the platform free to explore and allows community groups, local creatives and events to be listed at no cost.
Pay It Forward gives businesses with a paid package the opportunity to support a local charity, community group or organisation they care about. Let us know who you would like to support, and we will create a full Hilltops Connect listing for them at no cost and acknowledge your business for making it possible. We will also add your logo to their listing resulting in additional exposure for your business.
