Since 1972, Lambing Flat Enterprises (LFE) in Young, NSW has been a cornerstone of the Hilltops community, dedicated to supporting people with disabilities to live with greater independence and connection. What began as a Sheltered Workshop—built on the generosity of local fundraising—has grown over five decades into a responsive, person‑centred not‑for‑profit (Charity & Benevolent Society) serving individuals and families across the region.

From its earliest days Lambing Flat Enterprises (LFE) offered Early Childhood Intervention, Respite Care, Mental Health Support and Supported Employment. As needs evolved and the NDIS was introduced, LFE expanded to include Support Coordination, Plan Management and community connection initiatives—always adapting to what best serves local people.
